What this check finds
This page uses part of Helio Guard's real rules. It looks for things with a clear shape and checks them.
- Card numbers. Checked with the Luhn check and the card's own prefix, so order numbers are left alone.
- UK bank details. A sort code with an account number.
- Email addresses. One or a hundred.
- National Insurance numbers. In the official format.
- Secret keys. OpenAI, AWS, GitHub, Stripe and Slack keys, and private keys.
What Helio Guard also finds on a real PC
NHS numbers, passwords, lists of people, confidential words you choose and your clients' names. It checks Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF and text files chosen for upload too.
You choose what happens. It can take the detail out, warn the person, stop it, or just record it.
